Lorem is a nonprofit pet shelter run by a handful of volunteers and one very tired founder. We rehome roughly forty animals a month, matched slowly and with care.

We started in 2019 with one spare room, three kittens, and a very patient landlord. Today we have an actual building, a vet on call, and a waiting list of volunteers. We still answer every email personally — sometimes slowly, always warmly.
